The Power of Google Analytics

The past 2 weeks I’ve had training sessions on Google Analytics.

I’ll be completely honest, I knew digital marketing was technical but getting my hands dirty in different tasks and aspects of digital marketing has shown me that I underestimated how technical it is.

In order to make sure I’m not getting left behind I got the chance to do some tasks in Google Analytics. This included downloading and assessing different metrics, searching for spam traffic and trying to find any trends.

For any new marketers out there, I would highly recommend getting to grips with Google Analytics.

Here are a few benefits of Google Analytics

  • You can get complete information on the performance of your business. For example your site, app, content, products and more.
  • Get access to Google’s insights and machine learning
  • You can connect your insights to different Google Products

If you’re new and don’t know where to begin. I suggest starting with the Google Analytics Academy courses. They even have a demo account for you to play around with.
